Psychology IB Teacher and Student Support (Whole School)

St. Edward’s College is seeking to employ a full-time Psychology IB teacher and Student Support (whole school) from scholastic year 2025 / 2026. The load will be equivalent to 28 contact lessons per week, split between 14 psychology lessons and 14 student support sessions.

  • Fluency in English and Maltese. Other languages are considered an asset.
  • A strong educational background in Psychology

Education and Experience:

  • B.Ed., MTL or equivalent at MQF Level 6 or higher in the subject area; AND/OR
  • In possession of a recognised, relevant qualification at MQF Level 6 (subject to a minimum of 180 ECTS/ECVET credits or equivalent), AND a recognised qualification in pedagogy at MQF level 6 (subject to a minimum of 60 ECTS/ECVET credits or equivalent of which a minimum of 18ECTS/ECVET should comprise teaching practice/relevant school experience) OR
  • A comparable professional qualification in the subject/area applied for
