A Thought from Edward
What would he say about the current situation?

If the college could have a voice, what would it say about the situation we're currently in?
Below is a short message from the voice of the college, what we think he would say.... As well as some images of the school void of it's beloved students and staff
Hey what is going on? I'm sure it isn't time for the summer holidays? I remember that we were close to the Easter holidays as everyone was getting tired and irritable. Which is very normal and in my 147 years I have seen it many times in many situations.
I am sure that by now though they should have been back with their boisterous behaviour and making my old bones ache. What joy though, it makes me feel young and wanted and oh so alive. I really am missing them.
The stories I could tell you of the things I have heard whispered in my corridors, underneath my arches and in my stunning grounds (the envy of many in Malta). Maybe if I continue with this empty feeling I will tell you some.
At the moment though there are very few people around and the school is eerily silent, I luckily have my memories to keep me company and a those who come to tend to my maintenance.
I can see Joey the gardener in my grounds tending to the plants and making sure that I stay colourful and lush in greenery. He works hard to maintain my exterior and it is a wonder to all who come on their first visit and it is an enduring memory to all who have beheld its sight.
Alan from maintenance is also making sure that my old bones are intact and ready to withstand the onslaught of the students and teachers one they once again return.
The housekeepers are also working hard to make sure that I look presentable for any visitors that may arrive. Although there don't seem to be many of them at the moment another really strange phenomenon that doesn't usually happen even during holidays.
There are also some administration staff around who come to make sure that there are people around to answer calls and to support parents.
Well I think I will close here as at my age I am sure you can imagine I need regular naps. Hopefully I will tell you some stories if no one is around but it has to remain our secret.
Sincerely,
