A visit to Fort St Elmo

Recently, the Maltese department organized a poignant outing to Fort St Elmo in Valletta, offering students a vivid insight into Malta’s experience during World War II. This educational excursion not only deepened their understanding of the island’s wartime struggles but also provided a tangible connection to the themes explored in George A. Said Zammit’s prose book, “Emilia.” The visit created a lasting impression on the students.
