Russian artist Wassily Kadinsky

This week Ms Lisa’s art was inspired by Russian artist and art theorist,
π‘Šπ΄π‘†π‘†πΌπΏπ‘Œ πΎπ΄π·πΌπ‘π‘†πΎπ‘Œ.

Kandinsky believed that 𝑐𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔 and π’”β„Žπ‘Žπ’‘π‘’π’” represented 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒏𝑑 and π‘’π’Žπ’π’•π‘–π’π’π’”. In fact he often listened to music while painting his masterpieces. πŸŽΌπŸž

He painted many colourful landscapes with unrealistic colours such as purple grass or yellow skies. He stylised most of the subjects in his paintings using simplistic forms with a black outline. One of these landscapes, named π™‡π™–π™£π™™π™¨π™˜π™–π™₯π™š π™¬π™žπ™©π™ 𝙖 π™‚π™§π™šπ™šπ™£ 𝙃𝙀π™ͺπ™¨π™š sold for $26.4 million at Sotheby’s in London 2017.
