There is nothing which encourages learning as much as activity. What sinks and what floats was the thorny question which the Year 2s explored this week.
Year 2Y boys also enjoyed testing out their theories this week as they discovered and compared items which float and those that sink in water. The boys discussed the elements and materials which cause this during their in-class lesson. They all had a turn to create some ripples and splashes as they furthered their understanding through discovery.
