And they call it ‘just play’

Motor skills are extremely important to the development of the child as it goes hand in hand with the cognitive and emotional development of our young humans. For this reason, at St Edward’s College, we place great stress on the physical well-being of children, and our extensive grounds help in this respect.

Our KG 1 students carried on with more sports sessions using different tools and equipment. This not only helps the development of their gross motor skills but also assists their coordination, balance, focus and sportsmanship. The young students engage in a number of fun short activities. These target their listening skills, attention to movement and mobility. Moreover, they are strongly encouraged to follow direction, instructions and the rules of the games in a fun easy environment.
