Edward's Thoughts -
The Glitch
Friday 29 May 2020
So you still haven't come back to see me yet. I am so missing your chatter and noise, the place seems so lifeless without you around. Normally at this time of the year you would be telling me about you trips to the beach, your days on board boats and the plans for family holidays abroad ..........
Hi there it's me the boy from Kangaroo Creek Australia. I am fed up with Edward reminiscing and wallowing in self pity so I decided to take over. I was the one who wrote the story the other week, the one that Edward didn't know about. Decided to take a turn, I enjoy playing pranks and it was about time that someone else took over from him he does tend to get all high and mighty, I am sure you don't mind.
I want to apologise to some of the current boys in particular, who do the ‘live-ins’. I was young, always liked a laugh, was a bit of a rogue at school. So now I wander the corridors of this beautiful, serene place, I listen to the laughter, I get a great laugh out of the mischief that some of you boys get up to!
Keep doing it, keep those teachers on their toes!
I am now ‘coming clean’ especially with the supervisors. Mr. Watson, it was me that knocked on your door, you came out and I couldn’t resist giving out a low moan … The look on your face! You were very brave and did not blame the usual suspects from Year 8. Between you and me I can give you a couple of tips.
And for all those who say it is the wind rattling the windows – do you know how much energy I have to use to rattle those windows!!!
Anyway, boys, you are in a great place. I will continue to have fun, especially scaring the teachers and I will always look out for you, at SEC and through your lives.
Next time you are in a live-in and wake in the dead of night should you hear a tune being whistled in the corridor, this is a link to the tune.
Think of the boy from Kangaroo Creek and wonder what mischief he has been up to.
What happened who wrote this story; oh it's him he is such a prankster. Seems he has been keeping you entertained and I need my nap. Please come back soon I miss you so much.
Sincerely,
Edward
