This week Ms Lisa’s art was inspired by Russian artist and art theorist,
𝑊𝐴𝑆𝑆𝐼𝐿𝑌 𝐾𝐴𝐷𝐼𝑁𝑆𝐾𝑌.

Kandinsky believed that 𝑐𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔 and 𝒔ℎ𝑎𝒑𝑒𝒔 represented 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒏𝑑 and 𝑒𝒎𝒐𝒕𝑖𝒐𝒏𝒔. In fact he often listened to music while painting his masterpieces. 🎼🏞

He painted many colourful landscapes with unrealistic colours such as purple grass or yellow skies. He stylised most of the subjects in his paintings using simplistic forms with a black outline. One of these landscapes, named 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 sold for $26.4 million at Sotheby’s in London 2017.
