This year SEC has re-registered its interest with Agenzija Zghazagh for the Young Parliamentarians programme. Last year it was a huge success with our students and this year we have a nice group again. The members are: Miguel Aquilina, Paul Bezzina and Luke Grech from Year 9 and Kurt John Grech, Enrique Ellul, Timothy Desira and Gianluca Baldacchino from Year 10. The students are learning debating skills in Maltese which they will put into practice for a national competition later this year. The students have virtual workshops with Mr. Roderick Borg who teaches them how to present and also how to practice Ethos – Pathos -Logos which are strategies for debates. The students participate wholeheartedly in this activity and look forward to the meetings. They are supervised by the Extra-Curricular coordinator – Ms. Samantha Abela
