As part of our theme of construction our year 2X class embarked on an exploration of friendships by drawing parallels between the uniqueness of each friendship and the distinct blueprints guiding the construction of buildings. The objective is to convey to students that, much like the varied architectural plans for different structures, each child possesses their own blueprint for what constitutes a good friend. This metaphorical approach not only emphasizes the individuality of friendships but also encourages children to appreciate and understand the diverse qualities that contribute to positive relationships. This activity focused on fostering social and emotional intelligence, promoting empathy, and developing communication skills as students articulated their thoughts on friendship blueprints.
