Young Timmy Vassallo is a confident sailor. Speaking to St Edward’s College soon after he arrived from Sicily having won The Ragusa Kinder Cup Regatta, Timmy spoke of the challenges the race posed. “I had to keep ahead of the fleet against the top two Italian sailors,” said Timmy.
Timmy is a veritable water-baby and you can see that the sea is in his blood. While thanking his parents for all the support he described that this love of the sea has been instilled in him at a very young age. he was taken onto a boat at the tender age of four days and since then his sea legs never left him. While this is a sport and a way of life, Timmy recognises the need for training to keep at the top of the game.
Even at such a young age, Timmy is planning his next challenge and St Edward’s College will be behind him all the way.
