CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE
On behalf of St. Edward’s College’s staff, students, and parents, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the government, particularly to the Ministries of Finance and Education, for their recent announcement of financial support.
This assistance is invaluable; many families would face significant challenges without it.
At St. Edward’s, we have long acknowledged and championed the vital role that our staff play in the education of our students. Investing in these key contributors to education ultimately benefits all the children they serve.
As many stakeholders are aware, St. Edward’s College is a ‘not-for-profit’ school.
This means that all surpluses generated from tuition fees, government assistance, bake sales, and various fundraising activities are reinvested into the College.
These funds are dedicated to enhancing the working conditions for our educators, improving educational resources, and providing essential materials that support our staff in delivering a high-quality education to our children.
I must apologize for the delay in the late notice for fees. Now that we have concrete figures to work with the Finance Committee will urgently reassess all calculations. This will be presented to the Board of Governors where the fee increase will be decided on.
I anticipate this will not be later than the end of this week or earlier.
