Creative Construction

Creative Construction

Friday 28 February 2020

Construction play is vastly found within KG classrooms as it provides the children with opportunities to develop their problem-solving skills, imagination abilities, physical development and thinking skills. There are no limitations to what a child can come up with when given adequate resources to create. Our students in KG2Y Bears absolutely love their construction play and always amaze us with what they build. They proudly discuss their creations with one another and negotiate parts to swap in order to produce their masterpiece. Moreover, they work together to share and come up with a work of art. Many-a-times, the students even recreate something they’ve seen or else learnt about during our class topics. This then leads to further developmental discussions and the sharing of ideas and experiences.
