KG classes have commenced their Read, Write, Inc. (RWI) literacy programme this week. Through games, crafts, and activities the students are learning letter sounds, distinguishing starting sounds, and learning letter formation in a fun age appropriate way. The literacy activities are scaffolded every week to encourage and build on the children’s abilities and skills. The use of rhymes and stories are also incorporated in the literacy development learning. Below some photos of KG1W playing a matching game to solidify their learning of sound ‘m’.
Dwardu's Scoops
