Written in the sand

Our KG1Z have been using the RWI literacy scheme at College to further develop their phonics development. The students regularly use coloured sand (following hand sanitization and safety measures) to form letters using a sensory approach to learning. It is a great way to engage students and encourage them to focus in a child-friendly manner.

Our targets here are correct letter formation which the children learn when introduced to a sound using its letter chant.

Dwardu's Scoops

A monthly update on the activities and events at the college. Dwardu's Scoops lets you see what your children have been up to in their academic achievement, physical development and creative abilities. It also features occasional interviews with Old Edwardians as well as aspects of college life from the past.
