During their Maltese lessons, the Year 1 boys brought in their favourite toy for a show and tell activity in class. Using new Maltese vocabulary the boys were encouraged to speak about the toy and explain why it’s their favourite. Such activities not only target the student’s language development, but also builds their confidence and their social abilities as they learn more about each other, as well as their public speaking skills.
