Year 1X Hands-on Learning

Last week, as College celebrated Carnival, Year 1X held a number of hands-on activities. They carried on with their English learning and following a story and writing session they themselves became the story’s character. The story revolved around a witch making a spell and the students took turns adding their own special ingredient to their class magical cauldron. The ingredients varied from leaves to spiders to lizards and much more. They mixed and chanted a magical spell with great enthusiasm. Later in the week, they one by one made fresh orange juice and enjoyed its refreshing and nutritious taste together outdoors.
