Colourful Villages – Last week’s art topic

Colourful Villages
This Week’s Art Topic

Monday 30 March 2020

One of this week’s art tasks involved drawing a COLOURFUL VILLAGE. Students were taught how to draw 2-D houses and 3-D houses using lines and shapes.  They also learnt the definition of folk art as a cultural form of expression.  So many students created interesting villages full of vibrant colours and strong outlines. Some even took their form of expression to another level using paper cut-outs and formed a collage. Others used oil pastels and water colours while others used pencil colours and wax crayons.

Here are a few of these creative paintings and drawings.
