Year 4Y - Together Everyone Achieves More

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller

The nicest thing about teamwork is that you always have others on your side.

The 2020/2021 school year will definitely be a year to remember and not only for the new safety procedures and mask wearing but also as a year that students have adapted and overcome more than they possibly anticipated. But I can’t be prouder of my 4Y boys for the joy, energy and laughter they bring to the classroom each day and the incredible team they have become.

I am so happy to have a group of students who are excited and keen to try new things; share their interesting ideas and experiences and engage with the new subjects introduced to them in Year 4.

In Maltese, Covid couldn’t stop us from still having our Show and Tell. The boys shared a picture of their favourite item from home and spoke about it in Maltese. Year 4 (1) – Covid (0); thank you Ms. Zammit.

In Science, we had a close look at mould to understand Alexander Fleming’s inspiration to create the life-saving antibiotic, Penicillin.

The boys showed off their creative side by creating the most spooktacular and franktastic Halloween masks.

In History, we learnt about how Ancient Greece influenced our current government by introducing Democracy. We had a practice voting session after listening to several potential ‘Class Presidents’ share why they should be chosen to fill this position. It was wonderful listening to them justify why they are the best choice for the position and the votes were very close, nail-biting stuff!

The boys also blew me away with their stunning vase drawings, the Ancient Greeks would be so proud.

I would like to thank my enthusiastic students and Ms. Maria for making our TEAM such a fantastic one. Together Everyone Achieves More J I can’t wait to see what we are able to achieve next!

Teamwork makes the Dream work.
