This week Ms Lisa’s art was inspired by Russian artist and art theorist,
???????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????.

Kandinsky believed that ???????????????????????????? and ????ℎ???????????????? represented ???????????????????? and ????????????????????????????????. In fact he often listened to music while painting his masterpieces. ????????

He painted many colourful landscapes with unrealistic colours such as purple grass or yellow skies. He stylised most of the subjects in his paintings using simplistic forms with a black outline. One of these landscapes, named ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????? ???? ???????????????????? ???????????????????? sold for $26.4 million at Sotheby’s in London 2017.

Students were asked to choose a picture of a simple landscape and simplify it to stylised colourful shapes while listening to their favourite music. Here is the result…
