Of space and time

Rhythm, starting from a heartbeat to the complexities composed in symphonies, is something that can be recognised at a very early age. Our KG1, the children truly enjoyed their music sessions as they explored instruments and even created their own. Some then even ventured outside and created their own bands as they marched to a beat.

Space was another subject which fascinated the youngest members of the college. The KG2 pupils created their own moons (including craters), cut out planets and spray painted the Milky Way. The students are truly enjoying learning all about our Solar System and our home within it. Throughout the weeks they will be comparing planet sizes, discussing their differences, and rocketing off to space during pretend sessions.

Finally, during their Maltese lessons, Year 2X boys have been reading and learning about The Red Tower in Mellieħa. Following the lesson, the boys took it upon themselves to build their own tower during break time. Of course, this led to an outdoor class project.
