Rescued!

This tiny song thrush was injured in what we were informed was ‘legal hunting’ outside the College grounds. While our students are safe, the birds, evidently are not. It was quite upsetting for the children to see this little inoffensive creature injured. At St Edward’s College, Malta we teach care for nature, appreciation of all creatures great and small. We took the little mite off to BirdLife Malta for help.

The issue elicited considerable reaction and was even featured in the national media.
