JAYE Success for our IB Sixth Form Students

Tuesday 5 May 2020

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ????
to our JAYE team ForWorld for placing 2nd Overall in this year’s JAYE Malta competition.

They were lauded for their #positivity the #scalability of their product and how they adapted to the challenges they faced.

Team members Laura Chianese & Angelica Catinii also won internships with HSBC.

Finally all team members and Link teachers were awarded the special John Harper award. This award was given to them for their perseverance amidst the disruptions caused by Covid-19.

Special mention goes to our link teacher Ms Elaine Busuttil Gili @busuttilelaine , without whom none of this would have been possible.

Well done to the whole team: Laura, Mateo, Angelica, Gabriel, Maaeb, James, Morgan and Zakarija. Through their company they produced and sold the MALTA BOX, a box filled with local cultural and traditional items supplied by local businesses.

They have been busy working since October and the skills that they developed and nurtured through this real hands on experience are invaluable. Thank you JAYE Malta for offering such amazing programs related that embrace entrepreneurial skills.

Final thanks as well to their mentor Mr Matthew Mamo from HSBC for his time and advice.
