Concepts such as weight and measurement are deceptively difficult for children to learn. Often, the idea of weight is tied to the material object in front of them with the classic question ‘what is heavier, 1kg of stone or 1kg of feathers?’ causing bafflement. In any case, they started on their first steps to understanding.

From storytelling to funny sandwich making, from scavenger hunts to crafts making, from bingo games to reciting poetry and singing, this was a Mother’s Day with a difference.  Making memories and cherishing special moments at St Edward’s College in a post-Covid ambience.

And finally, the Concerts are back on. Well, technically they never really disappeared but in reality, without the parents there as an attentive and eager audience, it was certainly not the same. And the little ‘uns certainly had a blast!
